Love the second design. I think it would look good in bright, or pretty, or even dramatic colour schemes, not just the subdued shown here.

I didn’t like the first centre, so made a change … much better. I like the new border colour too.

Love this one.
I wanted some of my String of Beads designs to be scrap quilts, and tried adding a scrappy selection of fabrics to each block, but found it very time consuming, until I found a couple of fabrics in the fabric library which appeared to be rather scrappy in these designs, but much easier to colour a collection of blocks. If you look closely at this virtual quilt you will see that it is just two fabrics and one of them is the background.
